Hello, I'm JY Mak (they/she), a documentary photographer prioritising commissions and collaborations centring climate, health and racial justice.
Beyond the camera, I work at the intersection of behavioural science, design, and technology, as an enabler for responsible innovation in healthcare and healing justice.
I co-produce events such as nature walks and healing circles to facilitate QTBIPOC folks in connecting and supporting each other, as well as developing community-based approaches to archiving and knowledge-sharing.
